This book is awesome. It put so many things in perspective and really makes one focus on what's truly important when it comes to leadership and life. For me, it was such an inspiration. Throughout my career, I will always have this book close at hand.

A great introductory work on servant leadership

This recent work by Kent Keith, who is the current (at the time of its writing and publishing) the Executive Director of the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership, is probably the single best introduction to servant leadership.
Which is the purpose of this book.
While most people recommend reading Greenleaf's initial works, like "The Servant as Leader", as an introduction to servant leadership. As it was written in 1970, it doesn't take into consideration of all the things we now understand better about servant leadership since then.
So I recommend people get this work to learn about servant leadership, THEN hit other works like Greenleaf's essays and other works on servant leadership.
